Maria & Ben

This was a really fun photo shoot at Pittville Park with Maria and her 11 year old son Ben. It made a refreshing change to photograph a slightly older child, (most of my clients are cutesy babies and toddlers!) Yet despite Ben reaching the 'embarrassment' age, as he called, his Mum still managed to sneak a quick kiss out of him and he also told me at the end of the shoot, in the tone of surprise, that it had been really good fun. An 11 year old boy is probably going to be my toughest critic so I'll take the compliment!

Oscar & Locky

Nicole is a good friend of mine and she recently asked if I could take some photos of her son, Oscar, and his cousin, Locky, with their grandparents.

They booked one of my popular 30 minute mini park shoots. I love photographing at Pittville Park. There's so much room and such a great variety of different things for the kids to do.

I suggested we meet up at the far end near the waterfall, away from the busy playground near the Pump Rooms. The wooden assault course at this end is almost always near empty and makes for some great pictures.

Ali, George, James & Oliver

I first met Ali on this park shoot in July 2014, where I got the boys pulling great silly faces, having shoulder rides, zooming through the tunnel on scooters and of course the obligatory ice creams! Since then Ali has also come along to my launch party for my new studio The Mousehole, (click here to see photos) and more recently George and Ali have both bought Mother's Day and Father's Day gift vouchers for one another...without knowing! Great minds and all that...!

Mika & Taylor

This was a bit of a farewell photo shoot. Annika, her rugby player husband Huia, and their young family were moving to France after two years in Cheltenham. The kids were great fun and loved licking ice creams, playing peek-a-boo and swinging high in the swings! I wish them all the best for their new life in the sun.
