Wren

A few days ago I got my own mini Mouse; Wren, into my Cheltenham photography studio for a bit of a dry run ahead of the Wedding Belles Wednesday themed shoots that are taking place in a few weeks as part of my 7 Shoots in 7 Days project, (more on that later!)

Here she is in my own Vivienne Westwood number that I got married in 8 years ago. It's a very special dress, modelled by a very special little girl. We only spent about 20 minutes playing around on the black infinity backdrop as Wren was keen to get to the park for her ice-cream, but it was an incredibly special moment that made me feel very lucky to have such a beautiful daughter.

Isla

Last Wednesday was spent in the studio with three very different little girls and their Mummies as part of my Wedding Belles Wednesday themed photo shoot day.

First up was little Isla, who just loved cuddling up in her Mummy's beautiful wedding gown. She pulled some great faces that made us all giggle!

I take all photos in colour and convert to black and white in post production. The Wedding Belle shots lend themselves well towards grey scale as the white dress against the black infinity backdrop creates simple, timeless images.

Matilda

Matilda and her Mum, Nathalie, were my second set of clients who came in last Wednesday as part of my Wedding Belles Wednesday themed photo shoot day. 

Despite  being quite shy, Matilda soon warmed up - helped by a few silly dance moves by her Mum to get her giggling! Matilda spent an enjoyable 30 minutes playing around in the dress and wrapping herself up in the gorgeous veil. Nathalie even had a tear in her eye! No doubt seeing her daughter in her wedding gown from her own marriage 10 years ago, (Nathalie showed me her wedding album and all the gorgeous pics) brought back lots of happy memories for her.

Jessica

Jessica was such a sweetie! Full of smiles and giggles, she absolutely adored dressing up in her Mummy's wedding dress! We played a lovely game of peek a boo, where she hid inside the gown and then jumped out at me! The 30 minutes flew by as she cuddled into the soft, luxurious rolls of fabric and Mum even had her wedding posy to hand as well!
