Puppy Love
Love this shoot from Saturday. Amid all the mayhem of 3 children, 2 dogs, 1 baby and a pair of roller skates, there was an awful lot of love in the room. Perfect pooches and cute kids!

Last weekend was the launch of my new photography studio, The Mousehole. Located just off the Bath Road car park, in Cheltenham, this is a photography studio with a twist!
Lots of quirky, vintage props and brilliant car boot finds created a fun two days for everyone who came along for a free 10 minute taster session. We had over 50 people through the door and raised £100 for Winston's Wish, with our raffle and fab prizes generously donated by the local traders of the Suffolks and Bath Road.
We also held a silly face competition, judged by editor Deborah Langham, editor of Families Gloucestershire magazine. The winner was picked on Friday and will be announced in the January issue of Families Gloucestershire, on sale on January 5th 2015.
I've had such great feedback and lots of repeat bookings, so a big thank you to everyone.
Below is just a small selection of pictures from the weekend.

Welcome to The Mousehole, an exciting new venture opening on Saturday 15th November 2014 with a big launch party!
The Mousehole is a photography studio with a twist. Alongside natural and free flowing photo sessions, that include a huge eclectic mix of quirky props and brilliant car boot finds, is a children's vintage boutique; character clothing for little individuals, with a big selection for boys!
This inspired collection of original, retro finds has been individually handpicked and lovingly sourced by Gill Thomas, founder of the popular Mouse About Town, fine art photographer and Mum to Jenson and baby Wren.
Gill combines contemporary Scandinavian, retro, vintage and many other unusual pieces to create an original and imaginative collection of clothing, accessories and toys.
Suitable from birth up to 5 years, and all at lovely prices, it's about re-wearing, re-styling and re-addressing the balance for boys!
Keep checking this page for regular updates, photos and all the latest info or go to www.facebook/mouseabouttown, where I run regular competitions!
Why not come along to the launch party for a free photo shoot? You can book your session by emailing info@mouseabouttown.co.uk or by calling Gill on 07983 465414.
Third shoot from last Sunday with Karen, Ian, William and Thomas. Burrows Field was the setting and we had great fun in the playground and roaming the fields. We even visited a dragon's swamp and I learnt a little bit of dragon language too!
Here are a few pictures from the second of three family photo shoots that I did on Sunday with Steve, Sarah, Ben and baby Emily at Burrows Field, Cheltenham.
Here are a few snaps from Sunday morning's family photo shoot with Eoin and his beautiful family. Eoin won this shoot for being my 300th Facebook like, so it's definitely worth entering all my competitions 'cause you never know what you might end up winning!
Some quick pics from Saturday's family photo shoot in Cirencester Park, Gloucestershire, with Amanda and her lovely family.
Here are a few pictures from this morning's trip to Tewkesbury. I was getting some front cover options for Cheltenham Magazine. It was a pretty gloomy day and I wanted some colour in the photos so I concentrated on the Abbey, in particular it's interior, which is stunning. I'll let you know which one makes it to the cover!
A few pics from a wedding I shot last week in Cheltenham at the Hotel Du Vin. For more info on my wedding work please visit www.gillthomas.co.uk.
A few pics from yesterday's photo shoot at Barrow Farm, near Staverton, Gloucestershire. Great fun was had by all of us, and even Geoffrey the sheep got in on the action!
Just a few quick snaps from Wednesday's photography session with the wonderful and very energetic Jolly Hockey Tots! The kids had great fun and, as a children's photographer, so did I!
Just a quick post showing some of my very latest work from yesterday, in Sandford Park, Cheltenham, for a fun kid's birthday party. I love being a children's photographer, especially when the kids are such great models!
I've been so busy in August photographing weddings, (see www.gillthomas.co.uk), the other side to my photography business, that this is the first opportunity I've had to post a few of my very latest family park photography sessions that have taken place over the last couple of weeks.
I love being a family portrait photographer, it's such great fun. All my park photography sessions take place in one of the many beautiful parks in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire and the kids, (big kids included!) are always in fits of giggles!
Get in touch if you're interested in having some professional photos done. All my work is on location and is always carried out in a really fun and relaxed way.
All of the photos below were shot in Pittville Park.
Here are the photos from the Flash Mob that took place just over an hour ago at Brasserie Blanc, Cheltenham, in aid of World Breastfeeding Awareness Week in conjunction with Emily-Rose, founder of Sling Beat, and Gloucestershire Breastfeeding Supporters Network (GBSN).
I enjoyed a fun few hours on Sunday snapping some perfect pups and pooches. Here's a snippet of a few of the photos from the Paws in the Park event, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. I'll be adding the full collection soon. Give me a shout if you're looking for a pet photographer to snap some fun shots!
Here's a shot from yesterday's Lilliput's Concert that was held in St Andrew's Church in Montpellier, Cheltenham. This classical concert for babies, children (and the big kids among us!) was a delight to photograph. Keep checking the website for the full collection to follow! More photos can also be found on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/pages/Mouse-About-Town/1405949616337777?focus_composer=true&ref_type=bookmark.
Here are a snap shot of the photos from this fab, fun filled, family event that took place last Saturday at Cheltenham's #Lido and raised some serious money for such a worth while cause, Motor Neurone Disease. I'll be posting more photos on my website soon.
On Sunday, Mrs Mouse spent a very enjoyable afternoon photographing the gnomes of Eastcombe as part of their annual gnome hunt, an event which the whole village takes part in.
Armed with a map, I hunted high and low, looking under branches and in streams, trying to find the little characters. It's incredible fun.
Below is a small selection of photos from the day, more to follow. Watch this space!
Mouse About Town had great fun this morning, rummaging through the raspberry bushes, tucked away in a secret spot in Grandad's garden. A wonderful hour was spent filling our bowls as full as we could with big, red, juicy berries, (and yes, one or two might have slipped into our mouths by accident!)
We took our haul into the kitchen and made delicious raspberry and banana smoothies, as fresh as the moment they were picked!
Below is the tale of our morning. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did.
Last Sunday I was invited by the Revd Nick Davies of St Philip and St James' Church in Leckhampton, Cheltenham, to photograph a part of their family friendly Pentecost Service.
I've worked with Nick many times now, previously capturing shots of their Harvest Festival Service, Crib Service as well as publicity shots for their Christmas cards.
Myself, my husband and two children enjoy the family services, that take place on the first Sunday of each month. It's refreshing to feel so warmly welcomed with the little ones laughing, screaming and shouting, which is actively encouraged throughout the service!
The work I do for Nick and the Church is all voluntary and frequently whilst taking the photos I often find at least one of my children clambering all over me!
